St Joseph's youth club is open to our young parishioners on a Wednesday evening from 7.30 pm till 9.00 pm during term time , It is open to boys and girls in school years 7 to 9 . They will receive a membership card upon joining and it is £1 per session . Most importantly there is a fantastic tuck shop(Extremely reasonably priced) ,a warm dry indoor area with big comfy seats and a TV, a sofa lounge area for cosy chats or a Karaoke party, also a snooker/pool table and plenty of footballs and rugby balls, basketball, table tennis and even an Xbox One and Wii.If you want to go old skool we have an arcade machine. This year there will also be access to free Wi-Fi and google chrome. The youth club also run many events during the year and day trips(Sporting events,Theatre visits and theme parks etc) which we get help with funding through the Wonderful Jack Petchey Foundation ,an organisation which enables us to award our youth with the Jack Petchey Achievement Awards and which in turn generate funds for the youth club so that we can offer such a wide range of activities that are youth lead so they get to enjoy the things they want to do most .Through the E.B&G.C (Essex Boys and Girls Clubs)and the team at Stubbers we benefit from many free events or heavily subsidised events , events occur throughout the year. There is also the yearly camp out at stubbers .Up coming events are advertised in the weekly newsletter available in the church or on this site under the parish newsletter tab. So please if you haven't tried it come along new members always welcome .
To our parents and parishioners the youth club is always looking for helpers they are vital for the youth club to continue, if you feel you could help and join the rota or help on one off events as a group chaperone ,that would be wonderful as always the more help we have the better for everyone .

Please join our facebook group www.facebook.com/groups/122169521132926/ to keep updated with our latest news. This page is for current parents and members of our youth club to be kept informed of helper Rota’s, upcoming events for our youth, confirmation events etc. This is our chosen medium to keep everyone informed and up to date with everything that we do. We encompass an age range of 11 to 25 . Although children must be in year 7 at school to attend youth club and events.
If you wish your child (or you are a young adult) to attend an event please add their name to the post referring to the event , this is how we keep track of people who are interested and numbers as most events are subject to strict numbers of availability.
