St Joseph's Choir

New members are always welcome, so please come along if you want to sing with us.
 Music Ministry

We are delighted that each of our weekend Masses is enhanced by musical accompaniment and that we have a dedicated number of singers and musicians.

Organists

We are fortunate that we have a regular number of organists who accompany the singing at Mass. If you are interested in joining our regular organists please register your interest with the presbytery.  Arrangements for organists for weddings and funerals are usually made through the Parish Priest .

The Ladies choir

This was originally formed to provide a boost to the singing at weddings but they now practice once a month and have a considerable repertoire to suit a variety of occasions. Pictures and videos of our Ladies choir are available below they are always looking for new members.

The Mixed choir

Sings at Christmas and Easter Tridium.  Practices begin weekly about eight weeks before. New members are always welcome.

Cantors

There are six cantors who have been singing the psalms regularly at weekends on a rota basis.
Tapes/CDs are recorded 10 -12 weeks in advance so that practices are unnecessary.

Folk Masses and First Communion Preparation Masses take place at 11.00am  mass once a month .

Music is provided by a group of musicians.

If anyone is interested in joining any of the above please  contact : lynheadon@btopenworld.com
