Full Time Caretaker

The Governing Body of this happy, successful school wish to appoint an enthusiastic Caretaker to join our friendly and dedicated staff team. A candidate who will be flexible, show commitment and have both excellent organisation and inter-personal skills. The role requires someone who has initiative and adopts a “hands-on” approach in working as a part of the school community. The successful applicant will also possess a range of practical skills which will contribute to general school premises maintenance and improvement work.
 
Hours: 35 hours per week (6 am to 6 pm) Shift Pattern Applies
Pay: Scale 5 Point 12 to 15 (£25,137 - £26,520)
 
Duties will include:-
Supporting the work of the school by ensuring that the premises are fit for purpose – clean, functional, secure and safe.
Supporting aspects of site management including security, premises, health and safety and cleaning.
 
  • Carry out cleaning of school as required on a day to day basis
  • School Maintenance
  • Ground Maintenance.
  • Opening and/or locking up the school premises (including holiday cover)
  • Porterage duties
  • Have experience to match the post
  • Support the ethos, Code of Conduct and policies of the school

St Mary’s Hare Park School is looking to recruit an excellent Key Stage 2 Teacher to start in September 2021. This is a full-time position, and the successful applicant will join our outstanding team of teachers. Applications are welcome from newly qualified teachers as well as those with more experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can contribute in a positive way to our friendly and supportive school.
 
We are also looking to recruit a new Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for September 2021. The post is full time and suitable applicants should ideally have some experience of having worked in schools before.
